This can help you become more productive by keeping a clean home screen that only has the most important apps on the forefront. Personally, I like to keep my home screen organized by usually hiding some of the apps that I don’t use very often. It’s natural to utilize that but it also comes with the fact that your interface becomes cluttered. This happens when your home screen is filled with all kinds of apps, especially if you’re using an iPhone that has a higher storage capacity. So when you are about to hand your phone to a Friend to check out photos you just hit friend mode and those are the only albums accessible.Downloading new apps on your iPhone can be exciting but things get a bit irritating when you have to spend several minutes trying to find your desired app on the home screen. I don’t want the chance someone looking at my photos can find them.Īs a matter of fact, one of the features I requested from apple is what I called, “friend mode” so basically it would be something that you set before hand for example, you add album #3 and #7 to friend mode. Sometimes I send photos and don’t want them accidentally sent to people. They just like to release features very slowly It seems.Īs for why I would want them locked in hidden folder? Let’s be real most normal functioning adults have something like that and it’s best to keep them hidden and away from the main photo album just so no accidents happens.Īnd to the people saying send feedback to apple? I have multiple times and with many useful ideas.

There is a myriad of reasons to have this functionality. What they need is the ability to hide any folders within the “hidden folder” and be able to lock it with Face ID functionality. It’s really such a simple concept and easy to comprehend. I don’t get the people thinking there is no need for this at all.
